Autumn Bloom

The flower changed with time. That became part of the piece.

About the Piece

This small flower started out brighter, but drying transformed its petals into an unexpected mix of gold, rust, and deep purple. Rather than treating the change in color as something to correct, the flower was preserved exactly as it ended up. Set against a pale background and framed in gold, the pendant keeps that transformation visible, from the slightly crumpled lower petals to the uneven wash of color across the top.

Care Instructions

• Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight to help preserve the remaining color.
• Avoid water, perfume, alcohol, and harsh chemicals.
• Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth.
