Caught in a Drop

A fallen petal, given somewhere to stay.

About the Piece

A deep magenta flower sits inside this clear teardrop pendant, its petals curling upward around the center rather than lying completely flat. That shape was kept instead of pressed away, giving the flower an almost wing-like appearance when viewed through the resin. Paired with an ornate gold setting, the finished necklace has a slightly vintage feel while still showing all the little irregularities of the original bloom.
