Under the Sand

A small reminder that beauty is often formed slowly.

The Discovery

Collected along Penfield Beach in Fairfield, CT, this shell was found from a little under the hot sand and already dried up. It first caught our attention with its characteristically small size, and the intricate placement of all the little knobs around the spiral. 

Preserved exactly as is, it was placed into UV resin before being attached to a stainless steel chain. In addition to being part of the learning process, the air bubbles in the resin add an ocean-like character to the piece.

• Store away from prolonged direct sunlight.
• Clean gently with a soft cloth.
• Avoid contact with harsh chemicals or perfumes.
• Remove before swimming or showering.
